Choose a way to pick
Spin picks one active choice. Pick several draws an ordered shortlist without repeating an entry in that draw. Make teams shuffles active entries into groups whose sizes differ by at most one.
- Start with equal chances, or enable whole-number weights from 1 to 1,000.
- No repeats keeps selected entries out until you restart the round. Teams use equal chances and do not remove entries.
- Search, pause, delete, shuffle or sort entries in Manage choices. Each separate line is an entry.
Random result, smooth finish
The browser’s secure random generator selects the winner. Each ordinary spin has a random duration between four and seven seconds and a varied number of turns. It lands at an interior point of the selected slice, rather than always its centre.
Stop gently finishes the animation sooner while keeping the same random winner. It cannot be used to steer the choice. The named winner resolves close finishes at the pointer. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
A clear space to play
On phones the focused layout places the wheel above compact Choices, Style + sound and Rules tabs. The small preview-corner control switches to Normal view and back. Colours show a selected check; spin and winner sounds start enabled and can be muted.

Frequently asked questions
›Are the winners random?
Yes. Selection uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling. Equal-chance mode treats every active entry equally. Weighted mode uses the displayed weights, independently of animation speed or duration.
›Can I stop the wheel early?
Yes. Stop gently shortens the remaining animation and slows smoothly to the same random winner. Your tap does not change the odds or select a different entry.
›How do I pick a friend?
Choose Friends in the ready-made list, replace the sample names with your own, and spin. Use one name per line. Repeated names count as separate entries unless you remove duplicates.
›Can I draw several winners or create teams?
Yes. Pick several draws without repeating an entry within that draw. Make teams randomly shuffles active names into balanced group sizes. Weights apply to winner selection, not to teams.
›Are my names uploaded or saved?
The wheel runs in your browser. It does not upload or persist your choices. Tool sharing sends the tool address without the choice list. Downloaded wheel images contain the labels shown on the wheel.
